Widening Assessment Opportunities in Far Flung Areas of Aurora

With the aim of increasing certified graduates and workers at the far flung areas of Aurora, TESDA is networking with several institutions to accredit as assessment centers.

Included in the target institutions are the Public Senior High School Facilities which were provided by the Department of Education with the necessary equipment and tools in the implementation of Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) Track.

In a consultation meeting and visit of TESDA Aurora in Casiguran National High School on March 19, 2019, the school officials and faculty were given an orientation on the requirements for accreditation as assessment center. Qualifications which will be available in the future for assessment are Food and Beverage Services NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Aquaculture NC II and Food Processing NC II. Once the said school was accredited, students and workers needing assessment will no longer encounter a three-hour travel to Baler and Maria Aurora, only to undergo assessment.
