The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) formally launched the World Café of opportunities (WCO) through Job Linkaging and Networking Services (JoLiNS) during ceremonies held at the Tandang Sora Hall, TESDA Women’s Center last Aug. 7.
With its core group from Central Luzon aspiring for stronger techvoc sector and advancing TVET as integral part in national development and as inspired by the leadership thrust of TESDA Region 3 Director, Atty. Andrew A. Bido, the Philippine TVET Association (PhilTVET) came into being.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will hold a two-day National TVET Enrolment with Jobs Fair for those who want to learn technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and for its graduates.
This will be held on February 27-28 and August 25-26 according to the memorandum issued by TESDA Director General, Secretary Guiling “Gene” A. Mamondiong, for the agency’s regional and provincial directors.
“People will see us near their homes or places of work. More than ever, we will make it very easy for anyone interested to enrol in a tech-voc course,” said in the TESDA chief.
The Team of TESDA Central Luzon once again reigned in the recently concluded 2017 Luzon Zonal Skills Competition held last November 25 to December 4, 2017. With six (6) Gold Medals, three (3) Silver Medals, one (1) Bronze Medal and a Medallion of Excellence, the region 3 delegation showed that they are still a team to beat. The team have been the champion, in the 2012, 2014 and 2016 Philippine National Skills Competition which made them a Grand Slam Winner. With this year’s feat, the delegation garnered the most number of Gold Medals among other regions.
A great deal of the exchanges and discussion, evaluation and feedback among Concepcion Vocational School (CVS) faculty and staff are the procedures built into the inception of APACC and STAR which were integral to the total system of how excellence was etched once CVS is heard.
