TESDA Benguet highlights “PAPA AND MAMA” on their 1st TVET Forum.

February 8, 2019 – Baguio City. TESDA Benguet held their first-ever TVET forum at the Venus Park View Hotel in Baguio City last February 8, 2019. The event was attended by CAR Regional TESDC Chair, Atty. Betty Lourdes Tabanda, 78 school heads and administrators of different Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs), and 19 assessment center managers in Baguio City.

TESDA revises Dual Training System IRR

Technical-vocational students under the Dual Training System (DTS) will now receive their daily allowances in full from the companies where they are currently undergoing the in-plant training portion of their studies.

This allowance is equivalent to 75 of the prevailing minimum wage.

APACC President visits Concepcion Vocational School

The President of the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) Dr. Ramhari Lamichhane, along with Dr. Brajesh Panth, Technical Advisor (Education) of Asian Development Bank (ADB), and other officials, visited the Concepcion Vocational School (CVS) on December 27, 2018. They were received by CVS Team, headed by the Vocational School Administrator Dr. Alvin Yturralde, for briefing and campus tour.

TESDA Launches 4th Cycle Development Plan for TVET Sector

Lapeña, PhD., CSEE, yesterday presided over the official media launching of the National Technical Education and Skills Development Plan, 2018-2022, the national blueprint for the technical-vocational education and training sector, or, TVET.
