195 Starter Toolkits Distributed by TESDA Bataan

195 starter toolkits were distributed by TESDA Bataan to Bataeño scholars led by Provincial Director Julie Ann Banganan and Ms. Sierra Flores, scholarship provincial focal, last April 7, 2021 held at Mandama Covered Court, Hermosa, Bataan.
Hermosa Mayor Antonio Joseph Inton, welcomed the scholars and reminded everyone to be vigilant and careful on personal health and safety especially this time of pandemic.
The good mayor allowed the activity together with Mandama Barangay Captain Alexander Jason Enriquez for the use of the covered court and equally provided assistance in hauling said toolkits through his designated Community Training and Employment Coordinator (CTEC) and Public Employment and Service Office (PESO) Manager Ms. Ofelia Salenga.
The said scholars were mostly from the First District of Bataan, 86 came from Hermosa, 98 were from Dinalupihan and the rest came from Orani, Samal and Balanga who were trained and graduated in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I under the Special Training and Employment Program or STEP through the efforts of Aangat Tayo Partylist Representative Harlin Neil Abayon III and Magdalo Partylist Representative Gary Alejano with Acuña Welding School as the TVET provider.
The Bataan Provincial Engineer’s Office headed by Engr. Enrico Yuzon also helped during the hauling of the toolkits. (30)
