2nd Quarter Provincial Technical Education and Skills Development Committee (PTESDC) Meeting via zoom application

On June 08, 2021, TESDA Pampanga Provincial Office conducted its 2nd Quarter Provincial Technical Education and Skills Development Committee (PTESDC) Meeting via zoom application participated by Mr. Gregorio M. Sison, Jr. (TVET Sector Representative), Dr. Francisco L. Villanueva, Jr. (Critical Sector Representative) 2nd District Board Member Hon. Anthony Joseph S. Torres (PTESDC Chairman), Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Director Elenita R. Ordonio (Public Sector Representative) and TESDA Pampanga Provincial Director Atty. Eric O. Ueda as the Co-Chairman.

The meeting focused on the creation of industry board and aimed to identify the TVET priority skills needs and develop the respective area-based skills map with reference to the Philippine Development Plan, National TESD Plan, the latest JobsFit, Labor Market Information Reports and various industry, sectoral and human resource development roadmaps.

This committee is supportive of the mandate of TESDA to encourage the active participation of the various concerned sectors particularly the private enterprises, being direct participants in, and immediate beneficiaries of a trained and skilled workforce, in providing technical education and skills development opportunities.
