Angeles City Youth Development Alliance (1st 2022 Meeting with TESDA Pampanga)

On April 20, 2022, the USAID Opportunity 2.0 Program represented by Mr. Miguel Mendoza (Youth Development Coordinator), Mr. Reynolph Ladon (O2 TESD Coordinator) and Mr. Loven Ramos (Youth Development Officer), paid a courtesy visit to TESDA Pampanga Provincial Director Atty. Eric O. Ueda to discuss possible scholarship grants and opportunities for the out-of-school youths (OSYs) of Angeles City, Pampanga.
Further, updates on the milestones reached through the continuous partnership of the agency and USAID on the usage of the TESDA Online Program (TOP) in the learning process of the OSYs were also emphasized.
The USAID Opportunity 2.0 (O2) is a program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that supports existing programs and mechanisms on improving the education, employment, and livelihood outcomes of 180,000 out-of-school youth (OSY) across 12 cities (including Angeles City) in the Philippines until 2025.
TESDA, being the authority mandated to provide quality technical vocational education and training, is one with USAID on the realization of its objectives and in an effort to transition more out-of-school youth to pursue further education, get jobs, or start their own business.
