Another TESDAMAYAN activity was conducted by TESDA Zambales
Another TESDAMAYAN activity was conducted by TESDA Zambales, led by PD Melanie Grace T. Romero, to the flood victims of the recent typhoon devastation in Baranggays New Ilalim and West Tapinac, Olongapo City on August 9, 2021. A total of 40 households were given food packs, laundry kits, and hygiene kits to help them recover from the disaster. Second phase of the assistance is the provision of skills training under the TESDA’s scholarship programs.
These activities are conducted in line with the Whole-of-Nation Approach being carried out by the Poverty Reduction, Employment and Livelihood Cluster (PRLEC) to attain inclusive and sustainable peace by ensuring the delivery of basic services and social development packages in vulnerable communities.
The household recipients are truly grateful for the assistance extended by TESDA to address their immediate needs and are looking forward for further interventions to uplift their living conditions.
A meeting was also held by TESDA Zambales with the barangay officials of the aforementioned two communities on the various programs and services being provided by TESDA.
