Areas of Cooperation between TESDA – 3 and DPWH -3 for Build, Build, Build

TESDA Regional Director Dante J. Navarro had a meeting with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 3 Regional Director Roseller A. Tolentino last March 19, 2019 at the DPWH-3 Regional Office.

During the meeting possible areas of cooperation were discussed such as On-site Training of workers, assessment and certification of workers in the construction sector and hiring of the graduates of construction trades within the community where the DPWH projects are located.

RD Tolentino said that most of their projects are by-pass roads scattered all over Central Luzon.

Meanwhile, RD Navarro is set to have a meeting with the Contractors of DPWH and District Engineers to determine manpower needs of their projects.
