Cojuangco foundation grants scholarships
The Eduardo Cojuangco Foundation (ECF) awarded certificates of scholarship to some 85 trainees of the Paniqui Institute of Technology of Technology (PIT) on May 18, 2012. The scholars will take their respective courses in Automotive Servicing NC I, Consumer Electronics Servicing NC II, and Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II.
During the same affair, Congressman Enrique M. Cojuangco, gave P10,000 cash award to Rosendo Bala, Jr.. The latter won a silver medal in EIM the 2012 Philippine National Skills Competition.
The ECF scholarship program is a continuing project of Ambassador Danding Cojuangco and his family in helping the less fortunate but deserving students of the province. TESDA-Tarlac helps the ECF by conducting the qualifying test for the applicants. The ECF grant includes payment of tuition fees, monthly stipends, book allowance, and job placement assistance. ECF has been a long-time partner of TESDA in providing scholarship to tech-voc trainees in the province. Since 2007, it has benefitted a total of 160 scholars.
