Consultation Workshop on the Establishment of Agri-Fishery Industry Board (Sub-sectors: Cacao Production, Coffee Production and Fishery) in Aurora Province
In line with TESDA Circular No. 017-2021 Implementing Guidelines on Pilot Implementation on the Establishment of Industry Boards (IB’s), a Consultation Workshop on the Establishment of Agri-Fishery Industry Board in Aurora Province with Sub-sectors Cacao Production, Coffee Production and Fishery last March 28-29, 2022 held at Fabros Integrated Farm Training and Assessment Center Inc. in Brgy. Diaat, Maria Aurora.
The Workshop was attended by National Agencies, Local Counterpart, Local Cacao Councils/Cooperatives/Associations and invited guests from Gintong Aral Community Development, Inc. (GACDI).
The agencies and organizations presented their agriculture-related programs and initiatives specially on the coffee and cacao industries in Aurora. They also discussed on the current status, challenges and possible innovations and best practices that could put the industry to the next level. Guests from Gintong Aral Community Development, Inc. shared their Farm to Cup Project that will be later adopted in the province.
