TESDA Zambales headed by PD Melanie Grace T. Romero, together with PTC- Iba Administrator Eugene I. Penaranda, paid a courtesy call to the newly-appointed SBMA Chair and Administrator Rolen C. Paulino Sr. on March 22, 2022 and discussed the partnership between TESDA and SBMA, including the proposed MOA which shall establish a training facility that will be operated by PTC Iba within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ).
PD Romero discussed the salient features of the MOA which was already approved for signing by the former SBMA Chair and Administrator , Atty. Wilma “Amy” Eisma. SBMA shall provide a facility to be used by TESDA for free in the conduct of training and assessment to benefit the displaced workers of the SBFZ through provision of skills training and extend skills upgrading to the existing industry workers inside the Freeport zone.
