Dela Torre is new Nueva Ecija PD

Rolando V. Dela Torre, a true blue TESDAn and a tested vocational school administrator in CALABARZON is the new provincial director (PD) of TESDA Nueva Ecija effective Jan 4, 2013.

He succeeded PD Luz Victoria Amponin, who was re-assigned in Bulacan. She replaced Regional Director Ted Garchalian who held the post in concurrent capacity after it was vacated by then PD Cenon Querubin, now the RD of TESDA-I. PD Amponin formally turned over her post to PD Dela Torre on January 14 in a ceremony held at La Parilla Hotel, Cabanatuan City, which was hosted by the Nueva Ecija Association of Technical Vocational Institutions (NEATVI).

PD Roland, as he prefers to be addressed, reveals his 90-days action plan to improve the output and performance of TESDA Nueva Ecija. Before he was promoted as PD, he served as Vocational School Vocational Administrator III of the Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Technology in Biñan, Laguna starting in 2007. He also served as chief-officer in charge of the Finance and Administrative Division of TESDA Region IV-A from 2005-2007. PD Roland, a Cavite native, is a master electrician as well as a PhD in public administration.
