DG Gene Mamondiong visits Tarlac by: Mary Grace L. Lacsina, CVS
It was indeed a very surprising yet a very fulfilling experience to TESDA-CVS faculty and staff headed by Dr. Alvin L. Yturralde
as they joined TESDA PTC and Provincial Office in welcoming Sec. Guiling A. Mamondiong, TESDA Director General during his visit on January 23, 2017.
A very simple and casual but engaging conversation about uplifting the quality of training and instruction was his main purpose. The Director General asked PD Ben-Hur Baniqued to hand all the office’s requests from sets office equipment to complex and high end technology to produce quality outputs. The good secretary also asked Mr. Leonardo R. Tabamo, PTC Administrator and Dr. Alvin L. Yturralde, CVS Administrator to edify him on the different needs and requirements of the two TTIs to further improve and expand the delivery of services to their clients.
Furthermore, Sec. Gene also took time to roam around the vicinity and meticulously check what necessary improvements or infrastructures must be built to provide quality outputs. He personally suggested some areas which should be developed and specified programs applicable for each.
During the visit, some heads of different TVIs were also present to acknowledge the presence of DG Mamondiong accompanied by the Provincial Director of Pangasinan, PD Manny Wong, Engr. Elmer Gutierrez and the MRRD group to pay gratitude to all the programs, scholarships and opportunities lined up for each of them. Although it was a short visit, it is considered to be one of the most achieved event as we welcome 2017.
