Discuss partnership in the conduct of training and assessment for the people
Yesterday, TESDA Zambales Provincial Director Melanie Grace T. Romero and PTC-Iba Center Administrator Eugene I. Penaranda met with San Felipe, Zambales Mayor, Engr. Reinhard E. Jeresano, to discuss partnership in the conduct of training and assessment for the people in the said municipality. This initiative is aligned with the devolution of training functions which is collaborated by TESDA with the LGUs. PD Romero encouraged Mayor Jeresano to put up its municipal training center to respond to the needs of his constituents. TESDA will be providing the necessary technical assistance in order for the said LGUs to achieve this goal.
The partnership will commence through the forging of Memorandum of Agreement on the training programs that will be conducted by TESDA in the municipality. In view of the need to train/re-enskill the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and other prospective BHWs in the area, TESDA will prioritize the provision of training in Barangay Health Services NC II.
