
Efforts of TESDA Zambales to Help the Health Care Workers and Front liners in Fighting Covid-19
In the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Philippines and the subsequent enhanced community quarantine of Metro Manila and the island of Luzon, health care workers and front liners has to contend with the daily risk of being infected. After all, having to care of patients with possible carrier of covid-19 virus each day.
In efforts to help the health care workers and front liners in fighting covid-19, Provincial Training Center – Iba fabricated face shields, these are personal protective equipment devices that are used by many workers (e.g., medical, dental, veterinary) for protection of the facial area and associated mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth) from splashes, sprays, and spatter of body fluids.
Provincial Training Center – Iba had already donated 50 pcs face shields in Provincial Health Office of Iba, Zambales and 10 pcs to LGU Candelaria and on-going fabrication of face shields which will be donated to every municipality of Zambales.
This is our effort to help the people who risk their lives in fighting covid-19.
