Follow up meeting with Punong Barangay GONZALO B. CARLOS Jr. and Barangay Kagawad AMOR B. OLIVAR

In line with the “TESDA Abot Lahat” guiding principles of Director General Isidro S. Lapeña, and to strengthen the prioritization of the agri-sector and construction sector, meetings with Barangay Officials of Brgy. Diteki, San Luis, Aurora, in coordination with 91st Infantry Battalion SINAGTALA 7TH Division of Philippine Army are executed by TESDA Aurora.
On August 18, 2021, JEROME H. LOPEZ – (TESDS II/Scholarship Focal), initiated a follow up meeting with Punong Barangay GONZALO B. CARLOS Jr. and Barangay Kagawad AMOR B. OLIVAR, together with the “NAGKAKAISANG SAMAHAN NG MAMAMAYAN NG AURORA” composed of “Women’s sector, Solo Parents, and Indigenous People (IPs). During the meeting, Mr. Jerome H. Lopez, in behalf of the provincial Director GENARO RONALD C. IBAY, explained the Scholarship Programs that the TESDA implements all over the country. With the help of the Philippine Army, Philippine National Police and Department of Interior and Local Government, TESDA committed the following Community-Based Training; Solar Lamp Assembly, Concoction Preparation and Defensive Driving which they chose to be conducted in their barangay. After finishing the training, TESDA committed also to conduct ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM so that they will have an idea on how their skills can be turned into business which is a great help to their livelihood in this time of health and economic crisis.
