Joint Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (JRTF-ELCAC) Second Quarter Meeting

Last June 24, 2022 TESDA III Regional Director Atty. Balmyrson M. Valdez attended the Joint Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (JRTF-ELCAC) Second Quarter Meeting at Royce Hotel Clark Freeport Zone.

During the meeting, the RTF3 Transition Report (2019-2022) was presented which highlights the major accomplishments and ways forward of the task force. The collective efforts of the attending agencies in localizing the implementation and operationalization of EO 70 was showcased, highlighting the best practices in the delivery of services and implementation of projects especially those in hard to reach areas of the region.

The meeting was concluded with the CORDS’ final guidance and directives which included the recognition of RTF3 Awardees.
TESDA Regional Office III was one of the roster of agencies who have also been awarded a Plaque of Appreciation in recognition for the agency’s active participation in pursuing the Philippine Peace Process and strong resolve in sharing the agency’s leadership and experience to work for peace, in collaboration with the government through the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity.

The attendance of the different government agencies attests to the sincerity and commitment of the task force to address the insurgency in the region by acting locally in bringing government services closer to the people through program and project implementation.
