Kick-off Ceremony and Motorcade

Today, TESDA Zambales headed by PD Melanie Grace T. Romero joins the Kick-off Ceremony and Motorcade, in celebration of National Women’s Month with this year’s theme: “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society”. The said activity was organized by the City Social Welfare Development Office and participated in by 17 barangays and other National Government Agencies (NGAs) in Olongapo City.
Furthermore, TESDA also promoted the event by wearing the women advocacy shirt, handing out gadget organizers, purple candies and pamphlets to female clients who availed of TESDA’s services in the office. Female employees of nearby offices were likewise provided with free token.
This year’s celebration highlights the continuing struggle of women’s human rights and calls for gender-responsive government programs and services that empower women so they can maximize their potential and welfare, enabling them to contribute to nation-building.
