LOOK: Multiplier training program on Training of Trainers on Work Readiness Modules on 21st century skills
TESDA Region III spearheaded the 5-day online multiplier training program on TOT on Work Readiness Modules on 21st century skills to create pool of competent facilitators in delivering 21st century skills to learner. The multiplier training program was conducted from April 19 – 23, 2020 and was attended by 20 participant-trainers from the different TESDA Training Institutions in Region III.
The full online training program comprises both synchronous and asynchronous activities were facilitated by the 5 identified Regional TESDA Master Trainers who also undergone the same programs conducted by NTTA and EDC namely: Ms. Kathrine R. Angeles, Engr. Norman Garcia, Ms. Reyna Bernabe Mercado, Engr. Allan Leander and Doc Mary Grace Occasion.
TESDA III Regional Director. Atty Balmyrson Valdez expressed his support with the said program and stressed on the role of trainers at this present time. He emphasizes on trainers becoming learning facilitators and shifting their role from instructing students to helping students construct their own learning. Likewise, he shared that this training is very timely and appropriate to help our learners to thrive, adapt, succeed, and be work ready as they enter the world of work or gain further training with confidence and more so the challenges brought about by the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Furthermore, trainers/facilitators who completed the said program is expected to integrate the 21st century skills and make use of the modules developed by EDC for easier implementation of every training programs in their institutions.
