LOOK: Officially launched of the TESDA Region III and SM Foundation, Inc partnership in collaboration with Department of Labor and Employment and Department of Social Welfare and Development for the Apprenticeship Program under the Enterprise-Based Training for the qualification of Customer Services NC II at SM City Pampanga.
The Memorandum of Agreement for Apprenticeship Program was signed by the SM heads and TESDA along with the other government agencies.
Secretary Isidro S. Lapena gave his word of gratitude thru recorded video, were he stated that through this program, the apprentice will not only expand their skills and knowledge but will also be confident enough to explore bigger opportunities as soon as they complete their training. This kind of public-private initiative certainly contributes in the effort of government agencies to revived our economy. The private stakeholders are crucial in helping our industries and workforce thrived in this challenging time.
The event was participated by TESDA Regional Director Atty. Balmyrson Valdez and Provincial Directors Engr. Jovencio Ferrer, Jr; Atty. Eric Ueda; John Adawey of Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac, respectively; DOLE Regional Director Geraldine Panlilio; ARD od DSWD Venus Rebuldela; Ms. Cristie Angeles AVP of Outreach Prigrams, SM Foundation,Inc.; SVP Operations, SM Supermalls; Mr. Bien Mateo; President Genevieve Manalad of Savemore; President Jose Ronaldo Tagbo of SM Supermarket; President Arnold Paul Daluz of Hypermarket and SAVP Rey Del Valle of SM Markets.
