
LOOK: TESDA assures EP/CLOA beneficiaries of scholarship trainings
TESDA Region III Regional Director Atty. Balmyrson M. Valdez together with TESDA Provincial Directors Joven Ferrer [Bulacan], John Adawey [Tarlac] and Atty. Eric Ueda [Pampanga] attended the awarding of farm implements and Emancipation Patents (EP) or Certificate of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) led by Sec. John R. Castriciones of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), also the distribution of farm machineries to Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organization (ARBO) during the ceremony held at the Baliwag Star Arena, Brgy. Pagala, Baliwag, Bulacan on May 10, 2021.
In his speech, Secretary Castriciones reiterated the mandate of the department which is Land Acquisition and Distribution, Agrarian Justice Delivery, and Support Services which helps the farmers to boost their household income by helping them develop their agricultural enterprises through livelihood and micro-enterprise projects. He also overly emphasized that the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) will reinforce the awarding of Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) in line with the thrust of the current administration to emancipate farmers from the bondage of the soil.
TESDA, as one of the partner agencies witnessed the awarding ceremony. Regional Director Atty. Balmyrson M. Valdez imparted the directive of the agency towards empowering farmer beneficiaries by providing support services to increase their production and household income through the provision of training skills on rice crop production, modern rice farming techniques, seed production, farm mechanization, and knowledge/ technology transfer through TESDA accredited farm schools nationwide under its scholarship programs.
