Mainstreaming the Indigenous People Dumagats in Bulacan

LOOK: Region III TESDA Bulacan through TWSP graduates of ATEC Technological College and assessed by the accredited assessment center Brigino Technical Vocational Training and Assessment Center under the construction sector partners with EEI Corporation for employment.

On May 27, 2021, EEI Corporation held a Job Pre-screening to the Dumagat who successfully undergone training and certified HEO-Forklift NC II, HEO-Hydraulic Excavator NC II, and HEO-Truck Mounted Crane NC II. Free skills training and free assessment were awarded to them. The Dumagats were encouraged to comply with the necessary requirements for them to be able to be hired and be deployed abroad. The Provincial Government of Bulacan assisted them in providing the documentary requirements in the fulfillment of their employment abroad.

After the job pre-screening conducted by the EEI Corp., there were identified fifteen (15) Dumagats who were qualified to be deployed abroad. These new opportunities for the Dumagats will help them developed their skills, knowledge and will change the life they were used to.
