Municipal Mayor Anthony Joseph “Tonton” Torres personally visited PTC – Guagua

In his more or less two-hour visit, the TEAM PTC-Guagua had a productive conversation on the programs they can partner with the Local Government Unit of Guagua. Part of the discussions were the MOA for Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) in Electrical Installation Maintenance NC III (EIM NC III), training support fund for lower-level qualifications specifically in Industrial Sewing Machine Operation (ISMO) & Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I & NC II (SMAW NC I & NC II). Mayor Ton immediately called his college friend whom according to him is very eager to provide trainees that are willing to be trained in ISMO with the aim of hiring them for his garments that is proposed to be built along Lubao, Pampanga.

Ms. Feliciano mentioned that the main goal of skills training in TESDA is to lead and help the trainee graduates for employment, which Mayor Ton agreed to support.
