On Becoming an APACC and a STAR Icon TESDA-CVS wrapped it up

A great deal of the exchanges and discussion, evaluation and feedback among Concepcion Vocational School (CVS) faculty and staff are the procedures built into the inception of APACC and STAR which were integral to the total system of how excellence was etched once CVS is heard.

On October 27, 2017 at Crowne Plaza, Ortigas, Manila, Dr. Alvin L. Yturralde, School Administrator of CVS together with Engr. Marlon A. Felix and the entire TESDA Region 3 delegation astounded everybody when CVS was recognized as the sole awardee of APACC and STAR in the entire Region 3. In this period of CVS’ history, as others struggle to create a genuine excellence, there is much concern expressed about the quality of participation in this institution and the quality of output and result. There is a clamor for more consultation, for more benchmarking, but in the end, the appreciation and a simple tap on the shoulder matters most. There is always a search for better achievement, better structures that will allow more effort for members to participate actively and meaningfully in the direction towards a common goal, to become an APACC and STAR awardee. CVS’ desire for a more improved, enlightened and involved institution to become an instrument of inspirations and to other institutions.

It has never been a 1-2-3 or an A-B-C task for all, in an era ushered by constant breakthroughs and uncertain refinements, CVS was able to hitchhike to the requests and demands of the highly distinguished accrediting bodies. Dr Alvin L. Yturralde with his staff work together for a truly participating common success and sometimes- FAILURES, frustrated efforts of the sincere members pushed them even more accelerated and directed “never quit” attitude.

Each gives generously of them and other institutions benefitted from this competence and the enthusiasm to share this with others make everybody even prouder.

And so are the CVS who continue to believe in building people and institutions for participatory excellence, genuine institutional achievement and global competence and excellence. Thank you APACC and STAR for making us truly a source of motivation and inspiration to others.

From the entire TESDA-Concepcion Vocational School family, thank you very much for this award.
