One of the mandates of the agency is to subject the TVET trainers to mandatory industry immersion, whose aim is to acquaint the TVET trainers with the current technologies and practices in the industry
On February 27, 2023, GPSAT through the leadership of its Vocational School Administrator, Dr. Alvin Sagum, with Mr. Jayson Aguas, the Industry Coordinator of Otel Wall Street Corporation deployed the first batch of tourism trainers for Industry Immersion.
Four (4) trainers from the tourism sector, namely Rebena Canlas, Victoria Lugtu, Noemi Ramos and Cristina Rivera were deployed on various qualifications like Bartending, Bread and Pastry Production, Cookery, Food and Beverage Services and Housekeeping. Said immersion has a duration of ten (10) days, which started on February 27, 2023 and will commence on March 10, 2023.
GPSAT assures its stakeholders that it will continue delivering the directives and mandate of the agency.
