One of the mantras of TESDA is “Bringing TESDA closer to the people of Region 3” through the various programs and projects of TESDA schools. That the spirit of “TESDA Abot Lahat” is always visible. One of the ways from which GPSAT ensure that they hold on to this is the realization of the GPSAT Extension Campus acquired by the virtue of Deed of Usufruct with the Local Government of Masantol headed by Hon. Danilo S. Guintu and TESDA represented by its secretary, Isidro S. Lapeña, PhD. CSEE. The said extension campus is located in Golden residences, Bebe Anac, Masantol, Pampanga. Scholarships under TWSP and UAQTEA like SMAW NCI and Contact Tracing are set to be delivered initially.
On June 30, 2021, Blessing and Inauguration of the said Extension Campus was attended by the different partners of the Institution. It was spearheaded by Hon. Danilo S. Guintu, Municipal Mayor of Masantol, Hon. Pol Balingit, Board Member and Ana York Bondoc-Sagum. The Blessing was started with a “Special Tree Planting” of the respected guests that symbolizes the strong connection between them. Right after the tree planting, ribbon cutting and blessing of the building was done. The guests from the LGU’s gave their special message during the program, from which they ensure and promised that their attendance to the blessing and inauguration was just the beginning of their unending support to GPSAT extension campus. That they’ll do their very best in order for the extension campus to become a successful one. During their special messages, they point out the importance of the different skills training of TESDA, that this training will be of big help in the residents of the Masantol and nearby town especially during this time of pandemic.
Atty. Eric O. Ueda, TESDA-Pampanga Director and Atty. Balmyrson M. Valdez, TESDA 3 Regional Director also ensure that TESDA will be of 100% support to all the projects and programs of GPSAT-Extension Campus. They also thanked the LGU’s for their usual support to TESDA and they look forward to the strong partnership with them. They also believe that with the leadership of GPSAT administrator, Dr. Alvin G. Sagum and his staff, this extension campus will surely be of big help in uplifting the life of Masantoleños by providing them different TESDA
Course.
This is just one of the proofs that GPSAT is really doing its best to continuously live with its vision and mission and meet its objectives and be part of the success of the community. That TESDA-GPSAT will always be an institution for “Better and Brighter Future”.
