Palayan City donates land to TESDA-NE

The Palayan City Government recently donated 4,000 square meter lot to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authotity-Nueva Ecija which will soon become TESDA-NE Provincial Office’s new home in its effort to further improve its services to the Novo Ecijanos.

Part of the land will also be used to expand the training facilities of the Provincial Training Center-Palayan, one of the 12 technology institutions of TESDA in Central Luzon.

In a two-page resolution passed on August 6, 2012, the City Council, led by Vice Mayor Moises Carmona Jr. authorized the donation. Palayan City Mayor Romeo Capinpin has affirmed the resolution. According to TESDA-Nueva Ecija Provincial Director Luz Amponin, the lot is located in Brgy. Singalat beside the compound of PTC-Palayan. It (lot) boots our drive to further improve our services to the people of Nueva Ecija, she said.

For TESDA3 RD Ted Gatchalian, the donation affirms TESDA-CL’s strategic position as it nurtures partnership with the local government units and the private sector. We are very happy because this (donation) proved once again that we are on the right track in terms of implementing sound and relevant technical vocational projects.
