
Philippine Red Cross Inaugurates Vocational Training Center
The Philippine Red Cross officially inaugurates its Vocational Training Center located at PRC Logistics and Training Center in Ilanin Forest Center, Corregidor Highway, Subic Bay Freeport Zone Zambales, today, May 20, 2017.
Honored Guests are Hon. Senator Richard J. Gordon, PRC Chairman and CEO, Atty. Oscar Palabyab, PRC Sec. General, H.E. Dr. Mustafa Alsayed, Sec. General of RCO and other delegates of the Kingdom of Bahrain Royal Charity Organization. PRC National, Regional and Provincial Chapters Officers, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Representatives, National Government Agencies, Local Government Unit Representatives from Zambales and Bataan, and various industry representatives from SBMA are also present in the inauguration.
The PRC Vocational Training Center is a newly constructed one-storey building is part of the PRC – Haiyan Recovery Operations supported by the RCO in the provinces of Subic, Zambales and Tacloban City, Leyte. The facility includes four (4) rooms, consisting of two (2) workshops (64 sqm each), an equipment storage area (64 sqm), and admin office (32sqm).
The Center is a symbol of friendship between 2 nations envisioned to deliver assistance in education and training for acquisition of technical vocational education and training to enable people gain skills that may help them earn income.
