Provincial Government of Aurora in celebration of National Women’s Month

On March 3, 2023, PO Aurora and PTC-Baler participated in the “Color Bubble Run” activity of Provincial Government of Aurora in celebration of National Women’s Month with the theme “WE for gender equality and inclusive society”, which is both a positive affirmation and call for action. The theme is a testament to the milestones achieved in closing gender gaps in the country and in gathering more support for the advocacy.
A short program was held at Quezon Memorial Park led by Hon. Christian Noveras, Provincial Governor of Aurora.This activity serves as a venue to highlight women’s achievements, significant contributions in society and discuss continuing and emerging women’s empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges, and commitments.
Various government and non-government agencies, as well as students and staff from public and private secondary schools, colleges and vocational institutions from the province of Aurora took part in the Color Bubble Run activity which started at Quezon Memorial Park, ended at the Provincial Capitol Grounds and was followed by Zumba activity.
Every year, National Women’s Month is observed to empower women by providing equal rights and opportunities, promoting self-worth, ability to make their own decisions, and right to influence societal change.
