PTC-Calumpit distributed the training support fund of the two (2) batches of Produce Organic Concoctions and Extracts

As part of the implementation of Bulacan’s Poverty Reduction, Livehood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) programs in the identified development area, Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran (K3), and TESDA’s Abot Lahat program, PTC-Calumpit distributed the training support fund of the two (2) batches of Produce Organic Concoctions and Extracts leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) on August 7, 2021.
The onsite distribution was facilitated by Ms. Rina SM. Pulusan, Special Disbursing Officer of PTC-Calumpit to the 40 graduates of the STEP program.
Meantime, replanting of vegetables such as eggplants and okra was also done by the graduates under the supervision of Mr. Richard Oton of Bausa Farms, one of TESDA-Bulacan’s partners in the implementation of PRLEC and K3 programs in the area. Additional crops will be planted to help recover the damages triggered by torrential rains and floods brought by the Habagat and typhoon Fabian.
