Regional Orientation on the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS)

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Region -III (TESDA III) have conducted a Regional Orientation on the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS) last December 2, 2019 at the TESDA Regional Office III, Government Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Undersecretary Earl P. Saavedra in his capacity as the Dangerous Drugs Board Executive Director presented and discussed the Executive Order No. 66, series 2018 or the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy of the government.

Usec. Saavedra emphasized that the PADS is geared towards a “Drug-Free Communities by 2022”. He added that it is a cohesive, comprehensive, and balanced strategy aligned with the international and regional framework on drug prevention and control.

He also commended TESDA III for coming up with the orientation program as part of its activities since the region was identified as the pilot for the implementation of PADS.

The regional orientation was attended by the TESDA III Regional and Provincial Directors together with the TESDA Technology Institutions Administrators and the regional and provincial personnel.
