SMFI Kabalikat para Sa Kabuhayan for the Dumagats in Bulacan

ICYMI: On July 14, 2021 Region III Regional Director Balmyrson Valdez and TESDA Bulacan Provincial Director Jovencio Ferrer partners with SM Foundation Inc. represented by Ms. Cristie Angeles (AVP for Outreach Programs, SM Foundation Inc.) together with the partner agencies, private companies namely, DSWD; DTI; DA; LGU of Norzagaray headed by Hon. Alfredo Germar; and Bausa Integrated Farm and Training Center, Inc.

The distance was not a hindrance to reaching out to the home of Dumagat where TESDA Region III and other partner agencies and SM Foundation Inc. experienced the boat ride, and a long walk in between islands and river to reach the Sitio of Sapang Munti.

SM Foundation officially launched the Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan (KSK) on sustainable agriculture Project at Sitio Sapang Munti San Mateo Norzagaray, Bulacan for the Dumagat as the beneficiaries.

The SM Foundation aims to cultivate the skills and knowledge of our brethren Dumagat to use the available resources in their area. Also, to promote and encourage them to materialized the skills they learned from the training they acquired from the PRLEC under the K3 program facilitated by the Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Guiguinto headed by Acting Administrator Mr. Rheo Henry Rodriguez which held a series of training under the Produce Organic Vegetable leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II.
