Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (TF-ELCAC)

October 8, 2021 – In furtherance of their campaign to end the identified Communist Terrorist Group known as CPP-NPA-NDF, the 70th Infantry (Matapat at Matatag) Battalion of the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division of the Philippine Army simplified as 70IB, 70ID, PA, identified Brgy. Buhawen, San Marcelino, Zambales as a communist-affected barangay.
As part of the Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (TF-ELCAC), said unit conducted a Community Support Program at the aforementioned area and invited TESDA Zambales and other government agencies on their Grand Pulong-Pulong and Withdrawal of Support from CPP-NPA-NDF.
