TESDA Aurora Personel Train on AI-Powered Workplace Productivity and Digital Literacy
–
TESDA Aurora personnel underwent a three-day ICT Skills Training on AI-Powered Workplace Productivity and Digital Literacy from September 28 to 30, 2026, at the TESDA Aurora Provincial Office Conference Room.
The training was facilitated by Ms. Roma V. Herminigildo, Project Development Officer, and Mr. Rodolfo B. Marzan, Information Officer, of DICT Aurora. The sessions covered basic digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, Google Workspace applications, and AI-powered workplace tools through lectures and hands-on exercises.
During the training, DICT Aurora Provincial Head Engr. Ravenal A. De Jesus paid a short visit to meet the participants and delivered a message encouraging personnel to pursue continuous capacity development as part of their responsibility under the “Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan.”
Participants were also oriented on the responsible use of artificial intelligence, particularly the need to fact-check information, review AI-generated content, and exercise proper judgment before using or finalizing work-related outputs.
Personnel, including GIP personnel and student interns, shared practical takeaways from the sessions that can be applied to their respective assignments and departments.
The three-day activity was also undertaken in support of the 8-Point Agenda of TESDA Director General Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez, particularly Demand-Driven and Data-Driven TVET and Flexible Learning and Facilities, by developing personnel capabilities in digital technologies, AI applications, and technology-enabled workplace practices.
