TESDA Aurora Provincial Office visited two (2) coastal barangays in San Luis, Aurora, Dikapinisan and Dimanayat

Through its TESDAMayan campaign, the TESDA Aurora Provincial Office visited two (2) coastal barangays in San Luis, Aurora, Dikapinisan and Dimanayat. These two (2) far-flung areas are susceptible to storm surges hence the frequent flooding especially during typhoons. As part of the identified priority barangays, TESDA Aurora extend its support by delivering basic services to the residents.
A team led by Supervising TESD Specialist Edgardo D. Suarez and PTC-Baler Administrator Cylie Amor G. Litao, with the help from barangay officials, PNP, and Philippine Army, provided assistance thru giving of hygiene kits to the communities. Along with this activity, the SM Foundation Inc.’s Operation Tulong Express, which involved the donation of black shoes to students, was also held.
“TESDAMayan” refers to the Agency’s aid to communities in need of direct and immediate assistance, affected by any crisis brought about by natural calamities, disasters, or any other untoward incidents which caused displacement among the residents. TESDA values the Filipinos’ inherent sympathetic attitude, which is always ready to assist their fellow citizens in need.
