TESDA Bataan to open two satellite training centers in Bataan
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Bataan is set to open two satellite training centers in Bataan.
This is after the finalization of the agreement between TESDA Bataan and local government units led by Atty. Balmyrson Valdez, TESDA 3 Regional Director, on June 9, 2021.
The training centers will be opened in Limay town and in Barangay Batangas Dos in Mariveles.
The two satellite training centers are located at the Limay Center of Excellence on Roman Highway in Barangay Alangan and at PPDC Housing in Barangay Batangas Dos.
The deed of usufruct is set to be signed by TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapeña, Limay Mayor Nelson David, and Batangas Dos Barangay Chairman Venancio Villapando Jr.
The purpose of the agreement is to operate two satellite training centers dedicated to providing technical skills, not only in the two mentioned towns, but also in the entire province of Bataan by helping Bataeños to acquire skills that can equip them with work and help improve the quality of their life.
Also present at the event were Julie Ann Banganan, TESDA Bataan provincial director, Neil Santioque, center chief of the Regional Training Center-Mariveles, Noli Bautista, Senior TESD Specialist of RTC-Mariveles, Aida Estacio, administrator of the Provincial Training Center-Orion, Remegio Tayag Jr., Councilor and member of the committee on education, and Evangeline Mariano, PESO Manager in Limay.
