Ueda attended the two-day Local Labor Market (LLMA) Online Sensemaking Workshop via Zoom application conducted by the USAID Opportunity 2.0 Project Education Development Center with regards to the recently conducted Local Labor Market Assessment (LLMA) in Angeles City.
The assessment conducted tried to find out what self- employment/entrepreneurship and job/wage employment opportunities are available in Angeles City and what are the present constraints that affects the ability of the youth to access these opportunities. The study also aims to guide the future development of USAID Opportunity 2.0’s youth programming activities through the Angeles City Youth Development Alliance (ACYDA) in order to identify relevant opportunities for the youth.
Opportunity 2.0 is a five-year (2020-2025) collaborative program between the Department of Education (DepEd), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Education Development Center (EDC) with support from US Agency for International Development (USAID). The program aims to improve education, employment, and livelihood outcomes for 180,000 out-of-school Filipino youth by strengthening existing education and workforce development systems designed for them.
