TESDA Pampanga Provincial Director Atty. Eric O. Ueda together with Ms. Ellen Z. Rivera TESDA Administrative Officer V, distributed the starter toolkits to the beneficiaries of the STEP (Special Training for Employment Program) and UAQTEA (Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act) Scholarship Program conducted by the following training providers under the qualification of Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II and Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I:

a. Global Citi College of Science and Technology Inc. – 13 beneficiaries
b. Dapdap Training Center – 25 beneficiaries
c. J.C.E Advance Technical School and Assessment Center Inc. – 24 beneficiaries

The starter toolkits are given to deserving beneficiaries in order to address the specific skills needs of the communities through promoting employment, particularly through entrepreneurial, self-employment and service-oriented activities.
