TESDA Region III Signed a New Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Provincial Training Center Baler (PTCBaler)

On October 19, 2023, Regional Director Toni June A. Tamayo of TESDA Region III signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Provincial Training Center Baler (PTCBaler), led by Center Administrator Ms. Cylie Amor G. Litao, and the Local Government Unit of Dipaculao, represented by Mayor Danilo A. Tolentino, which aims to establish a collaborative partnership between TESDA and the LGU of Dipaculao to enhance access to Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs in the barangays. This initiative will ensure that the training provided aligns with the specific needs and demands of the local community, ultimately empowering individuals with relevant skills for employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The previous MOA with LGU Dipaculao produced 350 graduates with a certification rate of 100%. With a report of a 100% employment rate for beneficiaries in FY 2021 and a 45% employment rate in FY 2022, these trainings have greatly contributed to the welfare of their learners and their families.
The TESDA Aurora, led by Provincial Director Elpidio D. Mamaril, Jr., Vice Mayor Franklin J. Reyes, and Municipal Councilor Allan A. Tolentino, were also present to witness this momentous occasion.
