Earlier today, July 15, TESDA Secretary Isidro S. Lapena Sid Lapeña and Daikin Philippines President Takayoshi Miki, officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the TESDA Women’s Center.

Japan Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Kazuhiko Koshikawa, graced the event as the guest of honor .

As part of the agreement, TESDA will provide a building for Daikin to transform into a state-of-the-art HVAC Center. By establishing this facility, more Filipino trainees and workers from the Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning (HVAC) sector are about to benefit from the modernized facilities and receive a better quality of training. TESDA Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Lina Sarmiento, TESDA Deputy Director General for Partnerships and Linkages Aniceto Bertiz III, and TESDA-NCR Regional Director Florencio Sunico, Jr. were also present and witnessed the signing ceremony. The RTC-NCR will be in the lead in the implementation of this program.
