TESDA Tarlac conducts community-based training on Pickling and Fermentation

TESDA Tarlac conducts community-based training on Pickling and Fermentation for twenty-five (25) Kaisa Women’s Organization members of Barangay Ungot, Tarlac City on July 19, 2021.

This program was organized and planned through combined efforts of the Provincial Director Engr. John B. Adawey of TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office, Center Administrator Leonardo R. Tabamo of Provincial Training Center, and Hon. Cristy C. Angeles, Mayor of Tarlac City.

The training was intended to provide knowledge and skills in fermenting pickles which they can use for starting a home-based livelihood especially now that we are all affected by this pandemic. Pickles are virtually entirely water, with very little fat or protein and a high concentration of vitamins.

Present were Ms. KT Angeles Go from Mayor’s Office, Barangay officials of Ungot, Tarlac City, Coordinators and officers of Kaisa Women’s Organization, and TESDA Personnel.
