TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office distributed toolkits October 26 & 27, 2021

TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office distributed toolkits to the beneficiaries of the 2020 scholars as part of the agency’s Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) scholarship held at Bulwagan ng Kanlahi, DIWA ng Tarlac on October 26 & 27, 2021.

The toolkits are for graduates of courses Carpentry NC II, Plaster Concrete/Masonry Surface (Leading to Masonry NC II), Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Cake Making, Cookery NC II, Plant Crops (Leading to Agriculture Crops Production NC II), Service Consumer Electronic Products & Systems (Leading to EPAS NC II), Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC II, Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I, Dressmaking NC II and Automotive Servicing NC I.

The Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) is a community-based training program that seeks to address the specific skills need in the communities and promotes employment, through entrepreneurial, self-employment, and service-oriented activities. STEP is among TESDA’s scholarship program that aims to provide free quality technical vocational education and training to deserving beneficiaries in the country.
