TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office headed by the Provincial Director Engr. John B. Adawey distributed toolkits to the beneficiaries of the 2019 scholars as part of the agency’s Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) scholarship held at Paniqui Institute of Technology Inc., Paniqui, Tarlac on June 25, 2021.
A total of 75 scholars received their toolkits. The toolkits are for graduates of courses in Automotive Servicing NC II and Service Consumer Electronic Product and System (Leading to Electronics Products Assembly and Servicing NC II.
The Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) is a community-based training program that seeks to address the specific skills need in the communities and promotes employment, through entrepreneurial, self-employment, and service-oriented activities. STEP is among TESDA’s scholarship program that aims to provide free quality technical vocational education and training to deserving beneficiaries in the country.
