TESDA TRES Update! Tesda Pampanga Provincial Director Atty. Eric Ueda together with the Acting Regional Director of TESDA Region III, Atty. Balmyrson M. Valdez, led the first wave of distribution of starter toolkits to the beneficiaries of the 2019 STEP (Special Training for Employment Program) Scholarship Program conducted by the following training providers under the qualification of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I:
a. St. Isidore “The Farmer” Learning Center Inc. – 101 beneficiaries
b. J.C.E Advance Technical School and Assessment Center Inc. – 20 beneficiaries and
c. John Gabriel Technological Institute Inc. – 50 beneficiaries
The starter toolkits, being one of the benefits under the STEP Scholarship Program, are given to deserving beneficiaries in order to address the specific skills needs of the communities through promoting employment, particularly through entrepreneurial, self-employment and service-oriented activities.
