TESDA TRES wins the coveted Award for “BEST REGIONAL OFFICE”
TESDA Region III was named as the Best Regional Office in the recently-concluded awarding ceremony for the TESDA Organizational Excellence Awards (TOEA) held on August 31 at the TESDA Women’s Center in Taguig.
Regional Director Balmyrson Valdez conveys his gratitude to the TESDA leadership for the recognition. He credits the teamwork, efficiency and dedication of everyone in the regional office and all those in the TESDA provincial offices in Region III for this feat.
The Organizational Excellence Awards aim to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of various operating units following the careful evaluation of the evidence-based outputs of organizational performance. Aside from selecting the Best Regional Office, the TOEA also recognizes the best provincial offices through the Galing Probinsya Award. The Best Training Institution is also given to outstanding TESDA training centers.
The Provincial Training Center (PTC)-Calumpit in Bulacan was also conferred with the ONE STAR award for its registered program, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II while PTC-Iba in Zambales received the same recognition for its Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II program.
The STAR or System for TVET Accreditation and Recognition Program recognizes TVET programs that have exceeded the minimum requirements of program registration set by TESDA.
Meanwhile, PTC-Palayan in Nueva Ecija was also awarded with a Certificate of Recognition for joining the TESDA Seal of Integrity.
