TESDA Zambales commenced the annual Provincial Skills Competition (PSC)

TESDA Zambales commenced the annual Provincial Skills Competition (PSC) and was finally conducted face to face, and done in adherence to the safety protocols under the new normal. It was held at SM Central, Olongapo City last June 8, 2022 with the theme, “Keeping the Quest for Quality TVET Alive” in cooperation with Zambales Association of Technical Vocational Educators, Inc. (ZATVEI) and streamed thru the Facebook account of the partner association.
The second day of this three-day event was the actual on-going competitions held in four different venues namely; Computer and Business College (COMTEQ) located at Olongapo City, Provincial Training Center Iba, President Ramon Magsaysay State University as well as Micro Asia College of Science and Technology which are all located at Iba, Zambales.
Markings were submitted by the institutions holding the skills areas and were forwarded to TESDA PTC-Iba Coordinator Engr. Jonathan Alvior and COMTEQ Computer and Business College Administrator Jov Mark Felarca for the encoding and verification of results.
The Awarding Ceremony was conducted in the afternoon of June 10, 2022 after the completion of all skills areas, also on the same mentioned venue of the Opening Ceremony.
Every winner was given a certificate of achievement and medals which was led by PD Romero and Dr. Ortin-Oliver.
Way forward, the gold medalists of each skills area shall be participating on the Regional Skills Competition to be tentatively held on the month of August this year.
