TESDA Zambales Provincial Director Melanie Grace T. Romero attended the Zambales Bamboo Industry Development Council Meeting

Today, June 29, 2022, TESDA Zambales Provincial Director Melanie Grace T. Romero attended the Zambales Bamboo Industry Development Council Meeting to help boost its efforts in addressing the challenges of the country’s bamboo industry .

The meeting was held at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Satellite Office in Iba Zambales headed by Provincial Director Enrique D. Tacbad. Attendees of the above-mentioned meeting were Provincial Director Bernardita Montivirgen of Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Zambales, and Tourism Operations Assistant I Kevin Nacabuan of Provincial Tourism Office, Mr. Dennis A. Jusayan of Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO), Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist (STIDS) Evangeline S. Bulda of DTI Zambales and Mr. William E. Luzano (Project-In-Charge) of President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU).

The 2022 Bamboo Industry Roadmap and the status and updates of the agreements from the First Quarter TWG Meeting were discussed during the meeting.
