The first batch of former Taliptip residents who trained under our joint SMC-TESDA training program for them will start work next month on our ongoing initiative to clean the Tullahan-Tinajeros River. As of February 2, we have already rid the river of 102,338 metric tons of silt and solid waste. Together with them, we will also start cleaning the rivers of Bulacan as well as the Pasig River. As we have said, we will never let this crisis go to waste. Instead, we will continue to use this this time to lead, be a force for good and help shape a better future for all.
