The Rising Barangay (Barangay San Jose, Urdaneta City)! Chapter 11-Featuring The 6Js Organic Farm. being selected for “benchmarking”. First of all. I’d like to thank the Regional Director of the Best Regional Office (Large Category), Atty/RD Bal ( Balmyrson Valdez) and his Party, composed of PD Eric Ueda (Tesda Pampanga), Ms Kate Flores, Ms Jolina, Ed Talisik (Connie Faith Apao Talisik) and Gil Rivera aka Dagul for their official visit to the 6Js Organic Farm. As shown in these pictures are the different activities of the Benchmarking Team. from undergoing the implementation of the Health Protocol standard, to the normal courtesy call, to the ceremonial tree planting, the Team inspected the Solar Powered Irrigation System, which was installed by RTC Mariveles under Adm Neil G. Santioque and visited the four Quadrants; the Chicken House, divided in 4 cubicles (native chickens, texas and turkeys), the organic garden (2 quadrants), which includes the vertical garden of pechay and camote and the medicinal Q to include rows of Papaya with fruits. Likewise, RD Bal and his team were surprised to see that the ISLA “Mango” Tree planted by Sir/Sec Sid Lapeña had already flowers, 8 months after it was planted. Also, the Bertiz “Dwarf Coconut” Tree, planted by DDG John Bertiz had also grown interms of height and number of leaves. Having performed their official duties, we hosted a Luncheon Fellowship at the Sinucalan Riverbank, which was at the back of the Organic Farm. On their way back home to Tesda Tres, I accompanied them to visit Mamang Freding Lapena, in coordination with classmate, Alejandro Lapena. Again, on behalf of my family, I’d like to thank my Tesda Family for your visit.
