
The Rotary Club of Guiguinto Premier visited TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center on July 29, 2022
The representatives from TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center were Ms. Kathrine R. Angeles, Center Administrator, and Ms. Dennie A. Domingo, Vocational Instruction Supervisor. On the other hand, the representatives from the Rotary Club of Guiguinto Premier were Ms. Mary Ann Valentino, Club President, Dr. Rosemarie S. Guirre, Club Member, and Arch. Ramon Mamaril, Club Member.
The two institutions discussed the possible partnership in terms of courses and programs being offered by both of them, specifically on Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) and On-the-Job-Training (OJT). The purpose of this possible partnership is to enhance opportunities for research, lectureship, sponsorship, endorsements, and internship/externship.
TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center plans to build a coffee shop as one of the income generating projects. The Rotary Club of Guiguinto Premier said that they can possibly offer an international grant to help the Center. This project will not only generate income for the center, but will also provide livelihood to its graduates.
As way forward, both institutions are looking forward to the signing of the MOA and to have more discussions about the international grant being offered by the Rotary Club of Guiguinto Premier.
