A total of 34 participants took part in the training, with the goal of providing necessary interventions for PDL by equipping them with skills to uplift their economic status and facilitate reintegration into their respective communities.
Trainings conducted were Banana Chips Making, Taro Chips Making, and Turmeric (Salabat) Making, which were facilitated by Ms. Guerlie Espina, of PTC-Baler. On the other hand, Soap (Dishwashing Liquid) Making was facilitated by Ms. Analyn Nicolas, of TESDA Provincial Office.
During the entrepreneurship training, participants were taught about financial management, identify market opportunities, and gained valuable insights on marketing and sales techniques to help them promote their products or services in their communities.
The awarding of certificates not only recognized their completion of the training but also served as motivation for them to apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge once they were granted freedom.
